Leisure activities at the Südsee-Camp:

Südsee-Camp is known for its extensive leisure programme directly on our premises. We offer a weekly changing activity programme full of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Here we show you an example of our current activity programme for this week as well as a brief overview of some of our event highlights this year.

Here in our annual highlights we only publish a few selected events with dates that will take place at Südsee-Camp this year. So you can plan your holiday accordingly if you like.

However, most events are only announced at short notice via the current activity programme for our guests. Let us surprise you with what we have prepared for you!

Do your kids love spending every free minute on the football pitch and fancy a few really cool training days? Then, dear parents, watch out!

This summer holiday 2025, we are once again welcoming the Schlotterbeck Football School to our Südsee-Camp. The coaching team from Niels Schlotterbeck's football school is offering great training days for football-loving boys and girls born between 2012 and 2018 on our sports field at the Südsee-Camp during the summer holidays!

Niels Schlotterbeck, the name sounds familiar? He is a former professional player and the uncle of Bundesliga players Keven Schlotterbeck and Nico Schlotterbeck. We are delighted to welcome his football school back to our club!

Dates 2025:
The training days at the Südsee-Camp take place during these periods.
in July: 14 - 17.07.25 || 21 - 24.07.25
in August: 11 - 14.08.25 || 18 - 21.08.25
each Monday to Thursday from 9.00 - 12.00.

Registration for the football training days takes place directly at the Schlotterbeck Football School - registration open; places limited!
As usual, you can book a suitable holiday (camping or accommodation) with us at the Südsee-Camp.

Highlight of the year: 2nd medieval treyben at Südsee-Camp
Friday 4 - 11 pm | Saturday 11 am - 11 pm | Sunday 11 am - 3 pm directly at the Südsee-Camp in the Tannengrund area.
Look forward to: Medieval live band, traditional food & mead tavern, children's entertainment, medieval traders & demonstrated crafts, falconer, a fire show every evening, show fights of the army camps and much more, see picture.

Obtain the B96 driving licence extension in just one day and without a driving test and start towing larger caravan combinations up to 4.25 t immediately!

For this trailer driving licence, you only need to complete a one-day course at the driving school, which consists of a theoretical and a practical part. This can be done at the Schardt driving school in Faßberg and can be perfectly combined with a holiday or stay at the Südsee-Camp!

The ‘Kirche unterwegs’ family programme invites young and old to do handicrafts, play and sing together, to family church services, bedtime stories and other great activities.

The current programme of Kirche unterwegs

From Easter holidays until the autumn holidays, the Protestant ‘Kirche unterwegs’ offers its family programme directly on site during the holiday periods and on public holidays in addition to the activity programme of the Südsee-Camp. In this way, it creates a place where people can talk to each other and to God in an informal way, even while on holiday.

The current programme of the Church on the Move at Südsee-Camp is displayed on site and can be viewed in advance via the ↗ church on the road website.

Kirche unterwegs with Deaconess Ruth Litzen and her team warmly welcome you to the church tent at Südsee-Camp!
- here: The church tent of the Evangelical Lutheran parish is located directly in the Südsee-Camp in the permanent pitch area ‘Finkenbusch’ and thus very centrally located between the areas ‘See-Eck’ and ‘GT2000’.
